he department of Community Safety and Liaison Head of Department Ms Glen Xaba-Makhetha representing the Honorable Premier Thami Ntuli attended a funeral of the late scholar Owethu Xoliswa Mpanza at eNqutsheni in Gingindlovu in ward 1 who was brutally killed and left in the sugarcane fields where her decomposed body was discovered.
It was a sombre mood moment for the family and the community of Nqutheni especially the school children who were attending the same school as her. Even
though the perpetrator has not been found but the community is optimistic that the police will work around the clock to comprehend the perpetrator.
The Head of Department in her remarks sent her heart felt condolences to the Mpanza family and called upon the community to work with law enforcement agencies and report these crimes. “I want to appeal to the m
