MEC for the Department of Social Development and Ugu MEC Champion, today, hosted a peace walk and anti- Gender Based Violence and Femicide at Ugu Civic Centre, Portshepstone.
MEC Champion started by handing over different toys at Umngengeni Crech, then proceeded to an anti-GBVF peace walk, then later addressed the community of Portshepstone on issues related to GBVF
According to police, between the months of April 2024 and September 2024, more than 350 cases were reported.
