PURPOSE: The Department of Community Safety and Liaison has a Financial Management Directorate which ensures that there is proper management of departmental funds.

FUNCTIONS

To ensure effective and efficient financial management systems

  • Provide an effective, efficient accounting service
  • Render an effective, efficient budgetary control service

To provide effective and efficient Supply Chain and Asset Management Service

  • To develop and implement an annual procurement  plan
  • Manage receipts, record and safe keep assets

To ensure effective and efficient internal Control & Risk Management Service 

  • Develop and implement risk and audit plans
  • Conduct investigations based on requests
