  1. Manage and promote crime prevention and partnerships.
  2. Ensure the monitoring and evaluation of police performance in the districts.
  3. Mange human and financial resources of the districts.

District Offices (Harry Gwala & Umgungundlovu)

PURPOSE: To monitor and evaluate the performance of police stations and promote community partnerships within the district.

FUNCTIONS:

  1. Monitor and evaluate police stations and address complaints against police stations for the district.
  2. Promote community/police relations and community safety structures and implement safety models and initiatives for the district.
  3. Provide administrative support to the district office.
