PURPOSE: To perform the functions of the Provincial Secretariat for Police for the Province of KwaZulu-Natal

FUNCTIONS:

  1. To provide research, information analysis and conceptualisation services to the Provincial Secretary.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the service delivery of all police service units in the province to determine their level of efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Address complaints against police service delivery;
  4. Develop and maintain community safety structures;
  5. Represent the Provincial Secretariat for Police Service at the KZN Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster.
