PURPOSE: To perform the functions of the Provincial Secretariat for Police for the Province of KwaZulu-Natal
FUNCTIONS:
- To provide research, information analysis and conceptualisation services to the Provincial Secretary.
- Monitor and evaluate the service delivery of all police service units in the province to determine their level of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Address complaints against police service delivery;
- Develop and maintain community safety structures;
- Represent the Provincial Secretariat for Police Service at the KZN Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster.
